Until you use it to pay for insurance, the money in your Hugo account is yours, plain and simple. We just ask that you put it there so that you can't run out of money or insurance while driving.

That means if you really need it, you can contact us (just text) and ask for us to send it back to the payment card you have on file. We'll happily return it, but it might take 3-5 business days (sorry, this is not in our control).

You can always add money to your account by texting ADD, and then selecting the number of days you want to purchase. We'll respond, confirming the number of days you want, and the cost before charging you. Then, we’ll transfer the money from the payment card you have on file and send you a receipt. Simple!
